The new concept was developed in collaboration with Italian chefs across the Four Seasons brand portfolio and draws inspiration from Italy’s Mediterranean and Adriatic coastal towns, with dishes combining fresh California ingredients with select DOP products shipped directly from Italy.
The new Italian coastal-inspired menu includes signature dishes such as a variety of artisanal pizzas cooked in Culina’s Neapolitan-style outdoor patio oven and a crudo bar serving salmon, tuna, yellowtail, sea bass and king crab crudo, as well as a crudo royale with caviar.
Appetizers include beef arancini, fried artichokes with lemon and caper aioli, seafood fritto misto, and wagyu meatballs, as well as Parma ham, cheese, asparagus, kale, spinach, and arugula salad, heirloom tomatoes with stracciatella and basil, squash soup with whipped ricotta, and lobster, crab, and shrimp salad.
Homemade pastas include potato gnocchi with mushrooms and peas, spaghetti carbonara, eggplant rigatoni, fennel sausage, broccolini and Parmesan pasta, spaghetti with tomatoes and shrimp and saffron risotto.
Main courses include branzino with tomatoes and olives, tuna with arugula and orange, New York steak with arugula, breaded veal chop, roasted chicken and potatoes, and braised short ribs with polenta.
Chef’s Specials include black truffle risotto and grilled porterhouse steak, while sides include sautéed spinach, broccolini, roasted potatoes, and sweet and sour cipollini onions.
We finished dinner with a delicious berry tart.
Culina is located inside the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills (300 South Doheny Drive) and is open Sunday through Thursday from 7am to 10pm, and Friday and Saturday from 7am to 11pm. For reservations, call 310.860.4000.
