The European Parliament strives to ensure that all people with disabilities can live independent lives and be fully integrated into society. To analyse existing efforts to protect and empower people with disabilities, consider future challenges and prepare for future work, the Parliament will organise the first ever Disability Rights Week. Many committees will hold votes, debates and events on disability policy. Further details of the activities can be found below.
