Police said Sunday that three children were suspected of being abducted by a non-custodial parent in South Los Angeles and asked for the public’s help.
According to Los Angeles Police, the incident happened Saturday morning in the 2000 block of West Florence Avenue, when the non-custodial mother, Timberly White, allegedly took the children.
Police say the children have been identified as Merle Naiya Shelton, 14, Major Shelton, 12, and General Welles Patterson, 6. The children have black hair and brown eyes. Merle Naiya is 5’6″ tall and weighs about 180 pounds. Major is 5’2″ tall and weighs about 175 pounds. General is 3’3″ tall and weighs about 50 pounds.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, White is believed to have been driving a heavily damaged burgundy 2024 Nissan Sentra SV with California license plate 9LYA880. She has black hair, brown eyes, is 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs approximately 120 pounds.
