What you need to know
Smorgasburg LA’s Ice Cream Alley Sundays from July 21 to September 1, 2024 at the ROW DTLA in the Arts District Admission to the outdoor marketplace is free, but food and beverages cost extra
Whether it’s wavy, stuffed with tiny marshmallows, or filled with fudgy chunks, ice cream is an endless source of goodness.
Or maybe ice cream isn’t exactly infinite, but it’s certainly a smaller number, but it’s still a delicious food that comes in easily 10,000 different gooey guises.
This makes National Ice Cream Day one of the coolest events on the calendar. While you might be tempted to pull out your calculator to calculate all the ways you can enjoy your ice cream cone — vanilla, sprinkles, two cherries, and a caramel swirl — the best way is to head to a place that sells lots of ice cream.
Smorgasburg LA is home to the annual Ice Cream Alley, an annual marketplace celebration of unique, artisanal and delicious ice cream, which will return on July 21, 2024.
You don’t need a calculator or a calendar to know what this day means: it’s “Ice Cream Day.”
But if you’re planning on attending a National Ice Cream Day party, don’t despair (of course, people do and should throw such parties): Ice Cream Alley takes place in and around Smorgasburg, Louisiana on several Sundays from July 21 through September 1.
Ice cream offerings so far at this hot weather festival include decadent flavors from popular Santa Barbara staple McConnell’s Fine Ice Creams, ice cream sandwiches from Wanderlust and chimney cake from Sweet n’ Hollow.
What’s in store for Ice Cream Alley vendors in 2024? Keep an eye on Smorgasburg LA’s social pages as National Ice Cream Day approaches and delicious possibilities begin to blossom.
So is ice cream really an infinite food?
Well, not really, but sampling a variety of well-made flavours over a few summer Sundays feels like a yummy plan to satisfy your taste buds.
Beginning July 21, enjoy ice cream at Ice Cream Alley.
