Disability benefit recipients will start receiving their new checks the next week in July.
The Social Security Administration’s new disability checks will arrive next Wednesday. Eligible recipients from across the U.S. can receive these new checks. For this particular date, two conditions must be met to receive the payment.
However, while disability benefits are not required, other retirement benefits from the Social Security Administration are valid to receive a check. All we have to do is meet the requirements for both. Once we meet the requirements, the payment is ours.
Requirements for the next disability benefit payment
The exact date that the Social Security Administration will send out these new disability benefits is July 17. To receive your check on this date, you must meet two requirements. The first requirement is that you have been receiving benefits since May 1997 or any month thereafter.
After passing the first filter, you must pass a second filter to access the check for July 17th. This second filter is related to birthdays. To be precise, your birthday must be between the 11th and 20th of any month to access the payment for this date.
If you meet both requirements, you will be paid on the same day. However, if you don’t meet the requirements, you can still get a check, but it will be on a different day. In total, the administration pays checks four days a month. If you miss a day of disability benefits, the Social Security Administration will pay you on a different day.
How can I get my disability benefits immediately?
Please note that July 17th is the day the Social Security Administration will mail out your checks. Whether you receive your check on that day depends on whether you have direct deposit enabled. This is the fastest method of collection and will result in immediate collection if enabled.
Americans who don’t have this collection method enabled will have to wait a few days to get their checks, and while the disability payments will eventually show up in their checking accounts, they won’t be there as quickly as they would if they had direct deposit enabled.
