Howard County Office of Disability Services
The Howard County Office of Disability Services, which oversees the Loan Closet, is one of nine offices under the Howard County Department of Community Resource Services.

Rebuilding Howard County Together
Rebuilding Together Howard County is a local chapter of a national nonprofit that works to preserve affordable homeownership and revitalize neighborhoods by providing free home repairs and renovations to low-income homeowners. Utilizing volunteers and skilled craftsmen, with the support of local businesses, donors and large corporate partners, RT is able to provide all repairs and renovations at no cost to homeowners.

Connecting children’s devices
Equipment Connections for Children accepts assistive devices that have been used by children with disabilities that have outgrown or are no longer needed. They clean and evaluate the assistive devices and offer them to other children with disabilities who need them, free of charge to the family. All services can be accessed through our website and are by appointment only.

Maryland Technical Assistance Program
The Maryland Technology Assistance Program (MDTAP) is a program of the Maryland Department of Disabilities. Its mission is to improve the lives of all Marylanders with disabilities, Maryland seniors, and their families by supporting access to assistive technology (AT) devices and services.
