For 50 years, El Valor has worked tirelessly to build communities where all people, including those with special needs, can live, learn and work.
To continue its mission, El Valor will host its 31st annual Don Quixote Gala on June 20th from 6pm to 10pm at Cinecity Studios.
The theme is “The Golden Age of Mexican Cinema” and the event will welcome 300 local and business leaders, sponsors and friends of El Valor to celebrate the agency’s successes over the past year and honor its supporters.
All funds will directly impact the lives of over 4,000 children, adults with disabilities and families in the El Valor community.
El Valor will be honoring two strong community partners and advocates.
Diana Palomar, ABC7 Chicago’s vice president of community engagement, will receive the Guadalupe Reyes Founder’s Award for continued support and sharing El Valor’s story in the Chicago area and beyond.
MJ Electric will receive the Corporate Visionary Award for outstanding contributions to El Valor’s fundraising efforts and various programs.
The event will be moderated by ABC7’s Jasol Martinez.
