Veteran Benefits Guide (VBG) is dedicated to honoring veterans by providing a clear, guided path to securing the benefits they deserve. VBG case managers are trained by former VA employees and know exactly what it takes to achieve an accurate disability rating and maximize benefits efficiently.
On average, veterans who partner with VBG see an increase in their monthly benefits of $1,300. Of course, this service is free to use: you can apply directly through the VA or work with a VSO (Veterans Service Organization) to get help applying for free.
So why should you choose VBG? Because they have helped over 35,000 veterans file their VA disability compensation claims since 2015. And here’s the key takeaway: over 70% of veterans who use VBG’s website have already tried or have tried the free option themselves. Despite their efforts, VBG’s services have a 9 in 10 positive rating from veterans who use their services.
It is true that over 100,000 veterans have received incorrect disability ratings from the VA, and this is where VBG comes in. Now, you may be wondering if VBG lawyers can help veterans file their disability claims. The answer is no. VBG is not a law firm, and our staff who help veterans compile their medical evidence and file their disability claims are not lawyers.

If you are thinking of stopping by, please feel free to stop by and we encourage you to make an appointment so our trained staff can provide you with the highest level of customer service, however, walk-ins are also available at our San Diego and Las Vegas locations.
And the big question is, are there any fees? VBG does not charge an up-front fee. If you receive a favorable decision from the VA, a one-time fee is assessed, per the terms of our Client Services Agreement. Veterans are not charged a fee if they do not receive an increase in their VA Disability Compensation benefits.
With regards to payment for services, full payment is required upon notification of a favorable decision from the VA, however, we do offer flexible payment plans for those who wish.
As for processing times, they typically average 7-10 months. However, please keep in mind that VA caseloads fluctuate and wait times may be longer, which is outside of VBG’s control.
