Four people, including a 14-year-old boy, were sent to the hospital after a drive-by shooting in South Los Angeles on Sunday night.
Los Angeles Police Department officers responded to a report of a shooting near the intersection of 51st Street and Avalon Boulevard in the city’s South Park neighborhood just before 8 p.m., the LAPD confirmed to KTLA.
Police said the four victims were crossing the road when several suspects in a vehicle fired shots at them with a handgun and fled the scene.

Footage from after the incident showed a large police presence at the scene and more than a dozen evidence markers on the road indicating traces of shell casings.
Three of the victims who sustained gunshot wounds were able to make it to the hospital on their own, but a 14-year-old boy was rushed to the hospital by Los Angeles Fire Department medical personnel.
All victims are reported to be in stable condition.
Police say the suspect is only described as male.
The motive for the shooting is unclear and no further details have been released.
