Keranova receives highest score on Disability Equality Index and is recognised as a “Best Place to Work for Disabled People”

Kellanova is proud to have received the highest score possible on Disability:IN’s Disability Equality Index and been named a “Best Place to Employ People with Disabilities.”

This recognition highlights our commitment to fostering an inclusive work environment where every individual feels valued and respected. This achievement is especially meaningful as it coincides with Disability Pride Month and the anniversary of the passage of the Americans with Disabilities Act.

We are committed to continually assessing and improving our practices to ensure all employees have the opportunity to thrive, regardless of ability. Our Disability Equality Index score is a benchmark, not a goal, as we continue to innovate and drive towards a more inclusive work environment.

The Disability Equality Index serves as a comprehensive benchmarking tool to assess the workplace representation of people with disabilities in Fortune 1000 companies around the world. The index has become a standard measure for assessing various aspects of the employment of people with disabilities in a company.

At Kellanova, we recognize that our commitment to disability inclusion goes beyond achieving a high score on the Disability Equality Index; it requires ongoing effort and commitment. Our Kapable BERG (Business Employee Resource Group) plays a vital role in fostering an inclusive environment where all individuals can thrive and contribute meaningfully. Recently, Kellanova representatives attended the Disability Conference in Las Vegas to advocate for effective change on disability issues and accessibility alongside disability experts, activists, and advocates from around the world.

Throughout this month, Kapable has been leading efforts within Kellanova to raise awareness and understanding of disability issues within the organization.

Thank you to Kapable for creating space for those affected by disability this month and all year long.
