‘Kingdom’ actor Jonathan Tucker helps neighbor during Los Angeles home invasion – WFTV


LOS ANGELES — Actor Jonathan Tucker, known for his role in the TV series “Kingdom,” ran into a home to thwart a burglar in Los Angeles last Sunday.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the home invasion happened just after 6 p.m. Sunday in Hancock Park in Los Angeles, according to KABC.

According to reports, neighbors reportedly saw the man wandering around the neighborhood for a while.

According to KTLA, Los Angeles Magazine reported that Tucker saw the man enter the home and called police.

The report said that while they were waiting for officers to respond to the home, Tucker ran inside, where a woman and her three children were, according to KABC.

The home invasion was partially recorded on a neighbor’s video camera, WFXT reported.

Officers arrived shortly thereafter and a man in handcuffs was seen coming out of the home, KABC reported.

“If you want a citation, call the LAPD. They are the real heroes,” Tucker told Los Angeles Magazine, according to WFXT. “It was an amazing response.”

Police said the suspect was medically evaluated and appeared to be suffering from a mental illness, KABC reported.

In addition to Kingdom, Tucker has also appeared in Parenthood from 2011 to 2013, Westworld from 2018 to 2022, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre in 2003, and Charlie’s Angels in 2019, according to Variety.
