(KRON) — If you’re from Los Angeles or have ever lived here, you’ve probably heard of this ice cream chain.
Wanderlust, a local favorite that only has locations in Southern California, announced in a social media post that it will be hosting a pop-up event in the Bay Area next weekend. The pop-up will take place in Palo Alto on July 27 and 28.
The exact location and time have yet to be announced, with Wanderlust telling fans to “stay tuned for more details.”

Additionally, Wanderlust owner Adrienne Borlongan will be teaching people how to make the store’s signature Mango Sticky Rice Ice Cream. The class will be held at noon on Saturday, July 27, at the Williams-Sonoma store in the Stanford Shopping Center.
The Bay Area will finally be able to get a taste of one of Los Angeles’ most popular ice cream chains, and many Bay Area residents are excited about the pop-up.
“Please open a store here (Bay Area), I miss it so much,” one Wanderlust fan wrote on Instagram, to which the ice cream shop replied with a “praying” emoji, possibly hinting at a Bay Area location opening.

“I just moved from LA to the Bay Area and one of the hardest things to leave was my love for Wanderlust so this is a dream come true,” another Wanderlust fan commented on the post.
Wanderlust opened its first store in Tarzana in the San Fernando Valley in 2015 and has since gained over 105,000 followers on Instagram.
There are currently seven Wanderlust locations in Los Angeles: Atwater Village, Fairfax, Pasadena, Sawtelle Japantown, Smorgasburg (DTLA), Tarzana, and Venice, with an Irvine location “opening soon.”
Wanderlust was named one of the 17 best ice cream shops in Los Angeles this year by Eater magazine, and was also named one of the best ice cream places in the city by Thrillist magazine.
